An important post, and indeed good news. We aren't enough, but He is!

Jesus, Lover of our soul. He gives us the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Without Him we have nothing

Excellent post, again, RT. I have found myself, recently, reading some obits in the local paper. Not a good idea. I’m left feeling defeated regarding the accolades that will be missing from my future obit. The Exposure. A pitiful performance. Why, I wonder, do I feel the need to compare when God only asks us to be humble and be in service to his message of salvation in Jesus? The same delusions you mention in your post. Really, all I could possibly hope for is for my husband and children know I tried my best, fell a lot, but kept getting up and thanked God for the privilege.

RE: Can foolish virgins from Christ’s Bride, who hatefully reject the Bridegroom’s holy commandment (Luke 9:23), truthfully admit to such corruption and bankruptcy that reigns within their unregenerate ‘old wineskin’ hearts? Inherently being disobedient, they refuse to deny themselves the sensual pleasures of pursuing the licentious American Dream, and therefore will not take up and suffer their daily cross of martyrdom. Knowing the reprobate ‘old wineskin’ hearted foolish virgins are without the faithful ‘New Wine’ of Christ’s indwelling Spirit, therefore they are helplessly perishing, is one thing; repentantly confessing it to God and others is another. Those virgins in Christ’s Bride who broken-heartedly confess their convicted heart’s delusional self-righteousness and sinfulness are evidently being graciously drawn by Father Elohim to their Savior Christ Jesus. Those who lose/crucify their carnal-minded self-willed life by obediently taking up their cross and casting themselves on His mercies will joyfully find restoration.

Jesus said to all of them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success of America’s Dream], and loses or forfeits himself? Luke 9:23
