I've found that when isolation feels crushing, its usually because I'm measuring myself against everyone else's highlight reel instead of God's redemptive arc. I still hide myself from entrenched,perverted authority and societal vampires by cloaking. Christ taught me how thru the four gospels. I walk like a citizen but i cloak for survival and i stand in the light of Christ when and where standing up is called for. I wish you well!
